Stupid question Rss

Hi
i have never done the whole maternity clothing thing with either ds 1 or 2
but i have noticed some really nice maternity clothing
do i look at the size i am now or go up a size?
Btw im looking on ebay

Generally its the size you were pre pregnancy as they are cut to fit your changing shape smile
I never did the maternity clothing either. When I was pregnant everything was the same and not very attractive at all. I agree with PP post about getting the next size up if your buying from the internet.

generally i would agree but the tops i found on ebay are quite nice

thankyou im also looking at belly belts the ones you attatch to you normal pants if anyone has any tips on those
my last two pregnancies i wore tackies and daggy shirts eeewwww

I got a belly band. The ones that just stretch over. I found them to be really good and covered up if I couldn't do the button up on a pair of pants. Maybe you could have a look at those aswell. It was cheaper then the belt so I went with it.

do they hold the pants up lol

laugh I didn't have any problems when I wore mine.

I bought the same size clothes as I was b4 I fell pregnant with both my kids, I do have to say if they are pumpkin patch clothes I found they were a little all over the place with sizing but once I got something that fitted nice they were the most comfy out of everything I bought especailly the pants im normally a size 14 & I found that the pants from there I had to go with a med size,
I also bought the belly bands that u wear over the top intead of what u attached to ur existing pants, I usually have to wear belts with everything to hold pants up not really comfy while pregnant but those belly bands were relly comfy & held my pants up & it was great to wear after having bub also as they held everything in tight to help with tummy muscle repair, I got mine from target & they were like a lycra type material. Good luck shopping

i agree, the belly bands are a really good investment, esp for jeans

Re: the belly band - they just didn't work for me, i found that my fly would come undone so pants would kind of sag! I don't know why as everyone I know swears by them
