So, i gave in and put the heater on (hadn't wanted to use it as i had heard it uses A LOT of electricity) but wasn't sure what temperature to put it on? Would 24°C be ok?
Any advice? TIA smile
I usually have it on 22c as I heard that was the best temp for energy saving. If you put it up to 30 the room never gets to that temp so will just keep blasting away all day.
22 is really pleasant in our little house and it heats up to that fairly quickly - then goes into sleep mode until it has cooled down again.
btw.... if you have the newer split systems they have the inverter setup - meaning they take a while to warm up before they push air out - and that stops it from using a really sudden burst of energy which costs a lot. Our power bill last quarter was only $350 - and I have been using the clothes dryer every day as we didn't have a line yet!!! We use our split system probably 50% of the time....
lol How cold was it?? Freezing!
I was driving up through Meadows to work and it was really nice to be in my warm cozy car and seeing the grass white with frost, and steam coming up off the dams smile
Poor moos tho... would've been a chilly sleep!
Luckily it warmed up today - was beautiful smile
