TTC January 14 - New Beginning and Resolutions

Right girls, who's joining me for the New Year? I'm sick of waiting! New house, new year and fx a new baby for us. I have a few more days on the BCP so I can line up my cycle with the short time my DH is home, and will be starting my third round of Clomid. 3rd time lucky, right?

Sorry to the girls joining us after losses, I hope January brings you a new beginning too x

Any resolutions? I have some bad habits to kick - like making excuses not to go to the gym, and drinking too much Coke!

Starting the list off then....FX for a BFP in the new year!

I've come to join you ladies for the new year smile I really hope the new beginning brings us all our BFP's we've been longing for.
Feeling very positive about 2014, feel like its gona be a good one!!!!

New Years Resolution for me hmmm... Im with you both about going to the gym more and not making excuses not to... But also want to make more time for doing things I enjoy, more quality time with DP, friends and family. Oooh and I realllly should cut down on time I use my phone (lots of time on fb, blogs and googling pregnancy related things)!!!!

Are you girls all sorted for Christmas? Hopefully you get some time off to relax and enjoy smile Good luck to you both for this cycle!!!!

Yep all sorted with my shopping, wrapped and under tree! Its my lil Nephew's 1st Christmas and he is our first grandchild in the family so it will be special and also his 1st birthday on the 1st Jan too smile

Thanks, Skubala! Apparently my hospital appt is on it's way to me now tho, so will see when it is.. Might have to just bite the bullet and have the appt and go from there.. Surgery if necessary is booked after the initial appt I think. Will have to see.

do you girls gym much? A friend of mine was big gymmie, little body fat (maybe 15% or less) gymmed every day cardio/weights, she said she had to cut back on the gym a lot to get pregnant.. I haven't been going too hard, and trying not to much it too much. I'm nowhere near her standards but its in the back of my mind to go a little easier.

Hope the timing all works out well.

Don't worry about the gym. Excessive exercise can affect fertility, but my specialist said a few gym sessions a week won't hurt.

This sounds like me! Last year my NY resolution was not to drink soft drink, I only lasted 2 months! sad
I'm going to try it again as my NY resolution this year cos I did feel a lot better not drinking it! smile

Slowly easing in to holiday mode, have had a night away at an amazing resort for end of year celebrations for DP's business. Just gota work a long day tomorrow then its finally holiday time. Sooo looking forward to xmas and some time of!!!

Know the feeling about 2013 being horrible. No luck with TTC, finding out I had PCOS - starting Clomid, falling pregnant on my second cycle, and now ending the year with a missed miscarriage. I'm hoping 2014 will bring better things, it's going to be hard to put on a happy face at Christmas this year and I will have to bite my tongue when people ask us when we are going to have a child.

Last week at 7 weeks I was told I would lose my pregnancy - ultrasound has shown things stopped growing at 5 weeks, but since my gestational sac is so small, I've been told they can't intervene with a D&C at this stage, which really upset me. I need to wait to miscarry naturally, which hopefully doesn't take too long, but my doctor says it could take up to 6-8 weeks!

Devastated and frustrated, but keeping fingers crossed for the future. I am hoping to join the TTC thread in January, but can't add myself to the list just yet as it's a waiting game for us at the moment. We may not be able to TTC until February or March.
