Chemo during early pregnancy

I just started taking Methatrexate (form of chemo) injection weekly, had 2 rounds then found out I was 5 weeks pregnant even though we did a preg test the day of injections which was negative, my question is has anyone been in the same boat and did it go well, or did you have to abort due to severe abnormalaties etc... I'm now 10 weeks and one Dr said I should of miscarried weeks ago but I had an u/s at 7 weeks and the heartbeat is strong...I have read heaps and it's doing my head in think I need to hear from real ppl rather than articles... seeing genetics specialists in 3 weeks... what tests did you have if any?

hi there, i just wanted to say that i'm so sorry you are going through this and i wish you strength and healing.

i was a show once and the woman had breast cancer and had to have chemo while she was preganant and she went on to have a healthy baby although it was premmie.

I don't know of anyone personally who has been through this, but a friend of a friend has and now has a happy healthy 15 month old boy.
