A-blood type caused stillborn Lock Rss

I have A- blood type and my body makes antibodies 2 the babies during pregnancy. The shots are called anti d shots. They form a barrier between u and ur baby, protecting the baby from ur antibodies. U need 2 have them if u and ur parnter hav are neg and the other has positive blood groups. U need atleast 2 shots during pregnancy, adittional shots if u hav a bleed and 1 afta birth if u baby is the oppositive ie ur positive and the baby is negative. The effects are only short term though. The risk of m/c increases with each pregnancy, even more so if your prior baby was opposite 2 you. I didnt realise how serious it was until i lost 2 babies 2 the condition.
Hi all ladies who replied in this topic,
We are expecting again very early on 6 weeks. I'm always worried, I feel I can't enjoy this like my first.
I feel extra tried and not that hungry. I worry if things are normal. But every pregnancy is different.

hi,
i have O- blood type and lost my first pregnancy at 9 weeks because of bleeding. I was given a anti D shot once it was confirmed. I was told that rhesus negative blood type was uncommon but I have actually come across many women in the same boat. I am now expecting twins and am 8 weeks along I am finding this time I am much more cautious and dont know what to really expect with these needles that you are meant to get. I am so sorry for your loss and know exactly how you feel.. hang in there and I am sure you will be blessed soon.
xxooo thoughts are with you.

Would really like to know how your twins are going???

Hi smile Congrats on your pregnancy!

Im 7 weeks and have felt exactly the same as you. Try to relax and just make sure you get the very best care.

Good luck
Hi all,
It's nice to hear about the success stories. I want the best for this baby. We hope it all works. I think the hardest thing is we can only do so much and we can't protect our babies because it's out of our control. I am more aware tho and that helps.
I will be getting blood tests to see if the anti bodies are growing and a scan soon.
Hope to hear some more stories.
