Same here! So sick of ppl telling me how tiny my belly is, dr measures it each visit but i forget to ask what it is lol i think its measuring a tiny bit under but im only a small person and i know she isnt at all concerned its just a 100% baby bump n she is all curled up in there smile
Let us know how ur apt goes!

I'm getting the other extreme... Everyone keeps commenting on how big my belly is and when I say I still have 5wks to go the look at me in disbelief.

I am finding it harder to walk now too my hips and knees are killing me.. Baby is definitely head down I am getting a lot of sharp pains down there so think the head is starting to press down..

We have finally started to get baby stuff organised lol.. Thought I better as Christmas is only just around the corner and I don't want to leave everything to the last minute and be too tired and sore to do it..

Mum to 3 gorgeous boys...

Hi I'm living in brissy but thinking of moving to Perth next year. I'm 33 weeks pregnant with my second child and have a 4 year old daughter. We are looking at areas like Scarborough, hillarys, mt Hawthorne. I would like to live near the beach. Can anyone recommend great areas to live for families? Also schools as my daughter will be in prep next year. I'm 29 and would like to chat with other mums who live in or near these areas

HI there apt went really well, belly is measuring spot on, she said that its funny how people when your pregnant all of a sudden know what your body is supposed to look like.. im all baby too and yes, the baby is curled up in there. My bub is head down atm , 3/5s down so at least he knows which way to come out ..lol
kelbel..Ive been having pain in my hips and nerve pain in the tops of my legs Hence... head down low. Cant wait to have bubby now, so excited.
Zpunkette glad ur apppointment went well smile no sore hips here yet but nerve pain in one leg, especially when. She moves her head to one side, will be interested to see if she is engaged @ all. At my appointment next week! Ds never engaged until labour and thos bub has felt low from the start!
5 weeks Kelbel!! That sounds so soon lol. How exciting!

HI Ladies,
Soooo close now I can't believe how fast it is going...

Zpunkette it is getting pretty uncomfortable now are you getting any Braxton hicks? Mine are starting to increase now so my body is starting to get ready smile

bubone09 It's crazy to think I only have 5 wks left but knowing my history I will likely go over so it is more like 6-7wks to go. I would be in shock if I was to go early. Plus I would prefer to have baby after Christmas not that I will have a say in things if he or she decides to make an appearance early. My MIL informs me that I will go early this time so I would also like to prove her wrong lol.. wink

Hope everyone else is going well!!

Mum to 3 gorgeous boys...

Hi ladies

Its getting closer and by the time xmas is done we will all be near having our bubs
bubone09 your baby must be really low if your getting nerve pain, they are getting bigger and heavier so it makes sense

kelbel3 .. yes ive had braxton hix for a long time but from about 20 weeks they have been intense, the pully up your whole bottom area ones.. i think the more babies you have to more sensitive you are to them, abit like afterbirth pains. My 4th bub came 2.5 weeks early then my 5th came 3 days early so you never really know when, i just say do heaps of squats to push that bub down as far as you can... Im abit scared anyway,, or maybe just nervous.. my baby is so much in my ribs , im finding it hard to drive already.
well cant wait to hear how your appointment goes bubone09. keep posting . till then rest up.
Hi Everyone,

I'm new on here and thought I would join in smile My first bubba ( a boy) is due on 19th Jan. Only 7 weeks to go and I really don't feel ready lol!! I've got my baby shower tomorrow so hoping that will set me up a wee bit more! I'm looking forward to getting the nursery organised!!

I also feel that my bump isn't the right size, I'm looking really small. I thought I would be huge at this stage as I am quite short and don't have much room for baby but he seems really quite small and compact. My midwife isn't worried tho and said I am measuring on target smile

This week I've started getting sore joints in my hand, my Midwife said it could be Carpal Tunnel but I'm unsure. I can hardly bend my fingers and they feel really swollen but don't look it. Is anyone getting anything similar?

I hope everyone out there is well and enjoying their last few weeks of pregnancy!!
Hey all.

Just been reading everyones posts and I wish i could have worked longer, my doctor wrote me off work when i was 23 weeks!! Luckily I had a few annual leave, sick and leiu days and work paid me up until last week and now im on maternity leave.

Im 35weeks and my baby has decided she doesn't want to be head down or ass down, probably punishment because Im always trying to chase her head whenever I get the chance to.

This is my first baby and i feel so bad for not being excited like everyone else is about their baby coming. My little sister is 10 weeks pregnant and she is crazily happy telling everyone, shes constantly looking for things to buy or have people buy her. Maybe im a little jelous, because im really annoyed with how selfish shes being but nevermind.

Im only 20 and im relaxed about the idea of being a solo mum, I have done enough crying, I hope. I think the hardest thing so far for me is seeing my ex daily and him not being supportive about baby, im sure he might have some interest when shes born and also finding someone to talk to just about anything baby related. I have plenty of friends who are pregnant or have just had babies, but they all have partners, its hard for me to explain it but i just feel like im letting down my bubz by not having a second parent for her.

Also, im really looking forward to sleeping on my tummy, no heartburn, no low blood pressure, no sore pelvis, no more swollen ankles. My stretch marks to stop growing lol

More then anything Im really looking forward to holding her in my arms and seeing her eyes, Im in love with her so much already and ive never seen her before smile

Hope everyone else is handling the heat well; because im not!

Hi olivias mum+bump smile
I'm also struggling with walking and feel tired most of the time sad My hips are killing me I am counting down the days until I meet bubs too...

I haven't done all my Christmas shopping either I'm not sure if it is a wise thing to be leaving it to the last minute but as usual I have.. I have lay by a stroller for baby and will pick it up next wk and have started washing some clothes and getting things organised. It is funny how all of a sudden you get an urge to have everything ready to go..

I have my next midwife appt on Wed morning and a check up with the doctor as well.. I am intending to have a little chat with the Dr regarding my options for induction etc... My last baby was 14 days over and I have no intention of being let go that long again. I have 2 labours induced and 1 spontaneous as much as I would love another spontaneous labour I want to know all my options and make sure I don't get to the point i did last time of total mental and physical exhaustion.

Hope everyone is well smile

Well radiology place had a cancellation so got my scan today instead of wed! Yay! Was fantastic, bub is measuring pretty much spot on and estimated her (yes she is still a she lol) weight at 2.3kg smile shes head down as i knew and all squished up n had her hands in front of her face for most of it smile CUTE!

So excited to meet our little miss, have started washing clothes and stuff and now tht we hve double checked she ics a girl will start decorating the nursery haha
Currently staining a chest of drawers for DS's room so i can pinch the little one from his room for bub so will hopefully be all sorted after the weekend!

Have a dr apt on thursday so will let you know what she says zpunkette smile but. Bub is definately not too small after scan which is good, infact ive really popped out in the last week and a bit, hvnt had many 'wow ur small' comments lately haha

Hi and welcome to the newbies smile
Hope everyone is doing well! Xx

Hi Ladies,

How is everyone travelling? Can't say I am enjoying the warmer weather much feel like it is zapping all my energy...

bubone09 nice to hear your ultrasound went well and your little girl is head down and measuring spot on smile

I had my appt with the dr and midwife last wednesday all went well. Baby is head down and measuring 36wks which is nice.. I have big babies so usually I measure a few weeks ahead so it will be interesting to see how big little one will be. I'm hoping 7-8lb but more likely 9lb wink

We discussed induction options and they won't induce until 10days over so I'm really hoping I go into labour on time as I just don't think I can handle going over for a 4th time. Im getting lots of BH and lower back ache/period pain so who knows.. They have made the appt for the 41wk check up I hope I don't make it to that point but if I do I will be pushing to get an induction the next day hope they are agreeable...

My midwife has suggested getting acupuncture at 38wks to try and encourage things along has anyone else ever tried this method? After having 3 bubs go overdue before and trying most things to help speed up the process with not much success I'm a little sceptical.. I figure baby will come when it is ready but am willing to give it go...
The midwife is also willing to do a stretch and sweep at 39wks if I'm ready..

Oh and I think DH and I have finally agreed on names which is a first lol.. Getting so excited now can't wait to meet my baby smile
