Alot of women on here say how they have to stay up till all hours of a night just to get the housework done or how they didn't get a load of washing done cause their DS/DD didn't have a long day sleep. Why is it you can't get it done in the day time?
This is just a question, i'm not having a dig at anyone.
I live in a two bedroom flat. To put a load of washing on when home alone with the kids I have to carry dd2 down the stairs (two stories) to our garage strap her into the pram- she ran off yesterday, lay the rules on dd1, she's four and doesn't need the responsibility of watching her sister and then carry dd2 back up the stairs. I can't actually carry dd2 and washing up stairs and hanging space downstairs is at a minimum. I refuse to leave my kids up stair by themselves unless it's an emergency.
Tonight when dd2 goes to bed I hope dd1 will help tidy up and then i'll run over the floor with a carpet sweeper so's not to wake dd2. Hopefully dd1 won't be up too late and i'll do the dishes and get stuck into mount wash more, while watching some tv.
So for me it's lack of yard and space are the big issues,.
