How much water do you drink? Lock Rss

Was watching embarrasing bodies last night and they did we tests at a function (more like a paddock party) and some of the wee was nearly brown!

I must admit... I'm lucky to drink even one glass of water a day. I have 2 cups of coffee (have cut down from 8 cups) and maybe 2 or 3 cups of tea.

I don't drink juice or softdrink - I don't feel dehydrated, don't get headaches, my wee is light and doesn't smell, and yet the recommended water intake is 6-8 cups of water a day!

Do you drink the proper amount of water - and do you feel better for it if you do as compared to a time when you didn't drink as much?

(probably a dumb topic but was just curious whether people actually DO drink the right amount!)

I can go till 3 or 4pm without drinking anything and never feel dehydrated.
I force my self now to drink 4-5 glasses of water even if I don't feel like it.
Every morning I have a home made iced coffee and a glass of water at night before bed.
I should really start drinking more fluids through the day! gasp
I too can go all day without drinking water. I don't know why I just don't get thirsty and my wee is light too!!
But I am getting over a UTI ( maybe because I don't drink enough??) so I am forcing myself to have a glass of water every half hour. I'm struggling because I never drink this much!!
I can go weeks with out drinking water ,i dont drink coffee or tea never have i only drink pepsi light the only time i drunk water was when i carried the kids and for breast feeding.

I drink 2 - 3 litres a day. I detest soft drinks, so we never have them & I have 2 or 3 small cups of tea per day. Rarely drink juices. I continue to drink water throughout the night too. We have rainwater so that has made a difference. When we had tap water, I hardly touched it as it tasted so bad.
I can go all day without having a drink either.

But usually i will have a cup of tea on the morning, I have a 600ml water bottle on my desk at work, that can last me up to 3 days. When i go home i will have a glass of soft drink, generally coke and then anything after that i make myself have water. So i guess i would have 1-3 cups of water a day, 4 at the absolute max.

During the day my wee is pretty light on colour, except for the very first one for the day, i dont get headaches and dont feel dehydrated either.
I've just started trying to eat and drink alot healthier so I've been drinking about 2L a day and I feel alot better smile I also drink coke zero but since drinking lots of water I havent been craving it as I was before! I dont drink any coffee or tea, sometimes milo though lol
During summer i will drink a bare min of 1L a day, and if i am physically working i will drink anywhere up to 3.5L. During winter or cooler months i still drink probably 700ml a day if not a bit more. I also drink 1 coffee and 1-2 cans of coke. I also drink alot during the night. I have been tested for diabetes etc but apparently i am just a thirsty person!
about 5 glasses per day + 2-5 cups of coffee

you sound like me! except take the coke/coffee out of the equation, I will have Milo if I'm cold, but otherwise I only drink water (coke with takeaways) during the day, I drink anywhere from close to 1L in winter, summer 1L+, I get very dry lips, and headaches if i dont drink that much, and dry mouth, some days worse than another, and i have to be careful if i dont drink that much in the day then at night i crave it and then i need to use the toilet heaps during the night.. and i have been tested for diabetes (since runs in family, aunt, gran etc)
